From Chris Carter : "A Red Admiral was basking on a sunny wall in our garden at Alvescot, Oxon (SP271040) at 10.00am today, when air temperature was only about 6 degrees. It stayed around the same spot until at least 12.30, with periodic forays to nectar on Viburnum x bodnantense. I checked whether by chance it was the same insect that I reported on 23 November, but not so."
