Originally a gravel works, Emberton Country Park was transformed by Milton Keynes City Council into England's first Country Park in 1965. The Park is open to the public every day of the year from dawn until dusk, and vehicle entry is from 6am to 8pm. Vehicle entry charges are £5.50 (April to October) and £2.00 (November to March).
Accessibility: The main pathway through the park has a hard paved surface that is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs for most of the year.
